van der ZaagPieter van der Zaag is professor of integrated water resources management at the UNESCO-IHE and also holds a professorship at Delft University of Technology. He chairs the Water Management Group, and is also Head of the Department of Integrated Water Systems and Governance. Pieter has worked long-term in developing countries from 1982 to 2003. Joop de Schutter

de SchutterJoop de Schutter is a senior researcher and consultant in the field of policy analysis for integrated water resources management and integrated environmental management with extended international experience in implementation of projects in the water and environment sector. He has worked over 30 years in many different countries in Europe, South East Asia, Central Asia and Africa. Ting Zhang

ZhangTing Zhang is a researcher under the Conflict Prevention Program of The Hague Institute. Since 2012, Ting has been conducting research and coordinating events on the nexus between conflict prevention and climate change, water diplomacy, and natural resources. Originally from China, she holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University, with a focus on Environmental Policy and Management.
